Turn Your Accounting Knowledge into a Career in Technology

Are you AAT qualified or currently working in an accounts role and wondering what your next career step could be?

You don’t have to leave your finance knowledge behind to build a career in technology. At The HBP Group, we’ll help you use your understanding of accounting and business processes to become a specialist in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, one of the world’s leading ERP and finance systems.

We’re looking for someone with AAT Level 3, equivalent finance experience or a strong understanding of accounting processes to join our team as a Trainee Business Central Support Analyst.

You might currently work as an Accounts Assistant, Finance Administrator, Bookkeeper, Payroll Assistant or in another transactional finance role. You don’t need previous IT support experience or knowledge of Business Central—we’ll provide structured training, mentoring and hands-on experience.

Your finance knowledge will help you understand the challenges our customers face. We’ll teach you how to investigate them, resolve software queries and develop a rewarding long-term career in finance technology.

Why Move from Accounts into Finance Software?

Your accounting knowledge is valuable far beyond a traditional finance department. In this role, you’ll use it to:

    • Help customers resolve real accounting and software queries.
    • Understand processes such as invoicing, purchasing, banking, VAT and financial reporting.
    • Learn how businesses use finance and ERP software.
    • Develop specialist knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
    • Build a career with routes into senior support, consultancy, implementation, training or customer success.

This is an opportunity to move into technology without starting from scratch. We’ll build on what you already know and teach you the technical skills you need.
