Chief Marketing Officer

I oversee all of the marketing and communications for The HBP Group, ensuring that we continue to grow our business as well as maintaining good levels of communication with our existing customers.

I genuinely love working for The HBP Group so I have a huge passion and drive to make us more successful. Every day you learn something new so there's always things to improve and I really enjoy the process of getting better and better all of the time.

When I started at The HBP Group we were a relatively small company and I enjoyed the level of input everyone could have in the business. Since then, we've grown significantly but I believe we've done a great job of continuing that approach, which means that you get lot of input from lots of different perspectives. That means that whilst growing a business is tough, there's an unbelievable amount of support around you at all times.

I'm a huge football fan which consumes most of my spare time. As well as still fitting in a couple of games of 5-a-side a week, I'm the manager of my son, Albert's, junior football team and get dragged to watch our local team, Scunthorpe United, on a regular basis by him too!

As a family my wife and eldest daughter, Florence, are huge theatre fans so trips to London to feed their passion are common, which gives me a great excuse to follow my real true love - West Ham United!

I've built up a few marketing related ones over the years, including my Chartered Institute of Marketing certification. However, I'm a big believer in consistently learning, so I'm regularly listening to new audiobooks and podcasts on my way to work, which I think are just as important.
