Sage 50 Update: Release Information for v28.1

What’s new in Sage 50cloud Accounts v28.1?

The update sees several new features to the look and feel, as well as usability. Including:

New – enhanced business dashboard, with customisable elements including new widgets

New – data management tool to analyse data providing guidance on archive and/or cleanse activities

Improved – we have made a number of improvements to support customers with saving time, providing better business insights and simplifying VAT, and much more!

What else might you need to know about Sage 50cloud Accounts v28.1?

Integration with Sage 50 Job costing
If you currently use Sage 50 job costing, you’ll be unable to upgrade your software to version 28.1. It is recommended that you do not upgrade any higher than Sage 50 28.0. This is due to the Job Costing add-on being retired from Sage’s product portfolio. All support will withdrawn from 1st October 2021.

Integration with CIM 50
Similarly, if you are using the CIM 50 ISV solution, you should not upgrade your Sage 50 accounts until it has been confirmed it is supported.
