What Do We Cover in Our Business Central Demo

This Business Central demo is what we call a ‘taster demo’. It’s an opportunity to give you a first look and more of a ‘feel’ for the system. It’s particularly good for those who are still in their decision-making phase, where they’re still deciding between a number of systems, or perhaps those who have never seen Business Central in action before, and don’t want to just rely on product videos.

You’ll book your own 15-minute slot, then at your chosen date and time, you’ll meet with our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central product lead, who will take you through the following on your Business Central demo:

 
Homepage and Roles
You’ll get your first look at the Business Central homepage. We’ll do a high-level look at what everything means and you’ll see how easy it is to edit the homepage so it looks and functions exactly how you want it to. Business Central comes with a number of pre-configured ‘roles’, so you’ll see how simple it is to select these and adjust what you see on the homepage so that you only see what is relevant to you; whether you’re in the finance team, sales and marketing, or a warehouse team member.

 
Dashboards and Reports
Whilst we’re still on the homepage, we’ll also take a quick look at the dashboards (known as insights) on the homepage. These are reports that are relevant to your role, which allow you to quickly and easily look at filtered data – whether that’s looking at aged debtors, financial performance, sales numbers, or cash flow forecasting. You’ll see how simple it is to drill down for further information, in only a few clicks.

 
Business Central Integrations
It’s no surprise that Business Central has the most impressive integration capabilities with the full Microsoft suite than any other system. During your Business Central demo, we’ll show you how simple it is to interact with other Microsoft products whilst you’re still in Business Central, like with Microsoft Teams, but also how simple it is to interact with Business Central whilst you’re using other Microsoft products, like your Outlook inbox.

We’ll look at how impressive and simple it is to share data from Business Central via teams without leaving the system, or perform things like purchase order approvals, or sales orders, without ever leaving your Outlook inbox.

 
Business Central’s Tell Me (or Search) Function
Getting to grips with a new system can seem like a daunting task, but we take a quick look at how easy it is to find your way around the system with Microsoft Business Central’s intelligent Tell Me feature (or it’s search function.) With it’s predictive ability, navigating a brand new system has never been easier.

 
Simplifying Time-Consuming Tasks
Finally, during your Business Central demo, we’ll show you some common finance tasks that are either incredibly time-consuming, or nigh-on impossible, in other finance or ERP systems. From finding related entries in the system, like locating related general ledger entries to a sales order, or how to correct invoices where they’ve been posted in error.
