Stage 1: Updating Office 365 Applications
If you’d like to keep Microsoft Office applications up to date, including applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint, then this tutorial will show you how.
1) Start by opening an Office application, such as PowerPoint, by searching in the bottom left of your main Windows 10 screen and then opening a recently used or new document.
2) Once the application has opened click on the “Account” tab by clicking on the link in the bottom left corner of the software. Next, click on “Office Updates” to open a drop down menu and then click “Update Now”. This will then check to see if you are up to date or if you need to install any updates.
You can also access the “What’s New?” menu from the Help tab in the ribbon bar or from the File menu.
