In this video, Callum from The HBP Group’s Tech How Team explains how switch Microsoft Outlook into Exchange. If you prefer to find out how to do this with written instructions, we have included these further down the page.
There are a few Outlook issues which can be resolved by moving to the Exchange Online version and this step-by-step guide explains how to switch to this mode.
1) In Outlook click on “File” in the top left of your screen, followed by “Account Settings” and then “Account Settings” again.
2) In the new Window that pops up click “change”.
3) Finally, untick the box which says “Use Cached Exchange Mode to download email to an Outlook data file”. Then simply close Outlook and reopen it.
