In this year’s Pegasus payroll update for Opera 3 (version 2.93.00 onwards), you are now able to email P45 reports to employees the same way those who currently email payslips through the system. This is a great way to save time when you need to action P45s for leavers.
To get started, you must set up an email cover for P45s by going to Payroll > Email Admin > Design email covers and create a new email cover – this will be the wording on the email the employee receives. Once this is created, you will be able to send p45s via email.
Note: you will not be able to print a p45 to paper for email payslip employees unless you untick the option from the employees’ profile. Payroll > Processing > Action > Details and Bank > tab2.
